Street Art – June 2023

Well, we asked and you delivered!! This month’s challenge is themed “Street Art” seemed to appeal to most of our members as you can see from the turnout of this gallery. Abolutely amazing!! This is quite a popular theme amongst visitors to Portugal as they go on search of exisiting pieces of art and discover new ones and then document them.

It would seem that many pieces of art dissapear over time as their locations are demolished or fade due to the sun, so taking photos of them is alway a good thing in order to eternalise them.

The guest judge for this month’s challenge was João Paulino , who is a managing partner at our friends Quadro Molduras located in the Loulé industrial area and now also with an outlet in Almancil too. Some of our members use Quadro’s services for Passe-Partouts for exhibition work as well as mounting work too.

An avid Freelancer photographer and videographer, joão jumped at the opportunity to judge this months challenge and the images that he selected are distinguished below.

Many Thanks to João for his time! If you’d like to see some of João’s work he has a couple of social channels that you can look him up on:

Our next Exhibition (Print) will be on the 28th July 2023 and will have a theme “The Colour Red” so take a look at the link for more details and block off the date to join us for the Opening Evening.
