Robert is an anthropologist and a photographer. After having lived and worked in various European and African countries, he retired from his final job at the University of Amsterdam in 2021 and moved to the Algarve with his wife Marjolein. Robert has been a keen amateur photographer, on and off, for most of his life where he finds himself at home mostly shooting wildlife, landscapes and people.
